Personal Opinion

This is my very personal opinion.
I used OZW and Z/IP GW.
OZW => compile and everything works like a charm in one day!
Z/IP => too complex (why we shall start a TAP0?) and still I am not able to control my network.
For example, by following the guide for Raspberry:

  1. Compiled

  2. Started.

  3. After one minute the routing table gets in trouble and the Rasp is not reachable anymore (it losts the IP for some reason).

Moreover, with OZW we have a long list of pre-configured XML device files. With Z/IP nothing.
I think Sigma should seriously support OZW as SDK.
This would speed up the widespread of Z-Wave.
